All of my previous works of art have revolved around intimacy, detail, accuracy; certain individuals, precision and what is accessible to the naked eye. When what one expects or yearns to indulge in visually, is left disclosed or isn’t provided – significant details, in absence, it leaves one responsible to engage with the artwork. Make what one wants of it. I want my viewers to let their own ideas evolve and unearth meaning to these works that pulse vacant details and lack information.
The hidden, the misunderstood; it leaves one wanting, needing, more.
